On Thursday 10 December from 19:00, Dr Michael Louis will unpack the Direct Elections Bill and lead us in a discussion about how next year’s elections might look very different, should this proposed legislation be passed.

Who’s the speaker?
Dr Michael Louis has been involved for the past 28 years in pioneering constitutional legislation to effect positive change in South Africa.
He is the main promoter of the latest Direct Elections Bill which in early 2020 won the Constitutional Court battle challenging the constitutionality of the Electoral Act and the inclusion of Independent candidates. The new proposed Draft Electoral Bill is currently in Parliament and will significantly change the political landscape of our country as it currently stands.
Michael will address the webinar to present the proposed draft Electoral Bill and the process lying ahead and resultant effect: A true game-changer in legislation.
Michael is a recognised international businessman involved in a family business of property, technology and hospitality.
