This message is simple – there can be no space for hatred in South Africa.
We live in a country with constitutional ideals which echo our commitments to shared humanity, dignity, freedom and life. Through “No Place for Hate”, we will fight hatred directed against anyone to combat a culture of racism, antisemitism and prejudice in our country.
Show your support for the campaign in either a personal or professional capacity. It’s totally free and you get to use the campaign logo to publicly show you are actively supporting No Place for Hate in South Africa.
I stand with our South African Jewish Community and their place, contribution and identity in our culturally diverse country of South Africa. May there be love and peace for our neighbours and Jerusalem in Israel from where the heart of our Jewish South Africans is set. May we defend the rights of this communtiy within the cities, within the provinces and within the Country.

Hatred ends with your organisation recognising us, the SAJBBD, as the original Jews and compelling Israel to return our artefacts.
Hatred will end.
I was privileged to be part of the One City Many Cultures project initiated in 1999 by the Cape Times as a result of the Planet Hollywood bomb. Twenty years on and how much has changed? Only with tolerance will we learn to understand and I support any campaign that promotes this. We are all the same underneath - human beings, so let's celebrate our differences and stamp out hatred and prejudice. We can never forget the injustices dealt against so many communities across the world but only by learning each other's cultures can we begin to understand.
Maybe we should focus more on the progenitors or causes of hatred, like resentment and righteous anger. And certainty.
STICKS AND STONES MAY BREAK MY BONES
BUT NAMES WILL NEVER HURT ME
I pledge for Peace as hatred is destructive and toxic. We need to advocate for Peaceful resolution.I am an ambassador for Peacebuilding and Peacemaking.I pledge for Peace as hatred is destructive and toxic. We need to advocate for Peaceful resolution.I am an ambassador for Peacebuilding and Peacemaking.
May peace prevail worldwide.
We were born to love
Words cannot express how I feel about all this unfounded hatred . Make the right choice and chose peace.
Hatred is very easy and unnecessary because it is destructive. I propose that we socialise our children with love, as it can be learned and socialised. I choose and prefer love though it's not easy it builds, promote empathy and premised on values of mutual respect. So I pledge for love in the world and embracing diversity. The SOMELEZE Women Healing Circles sends our heartfelt condolences for the Jewish Pittsburgh Community.
There is no place for hate and prejudice in society.
The greatest gift of all is LOVE, and it is stolen from us by evil....... never let it depart from your heart, GOD loved us first.
We all have to deal with the ugly prejudices. A good start is to look within!
I pledge to be a voice that fights all forms of hate and calls it out when confronted by it.
Respect for ourselves and for one another,
Recognition of the rights and dignity of all others, and
Relatedness through caring and kindness towards all
Are the keys to achieving a better world for all of us.
I have always worked for charity but these days people just want money so I am not able to do that anymore. It’s sad. I promise to find situations where the little I can do will help.
I pledge to pause and smile and engage with more people from different backgrounds to me. As a Proud Jewess, I pledge to advance in my personal learning and in turn share the beauty of the Jewish faith with my colleagues and non-Jewish faith. Ignorance breeds contempt. I will be a lamplighter.
Teach tolerance nd love... not hate! I pledge to teach and talk about it
I pledge to acknowledge the equal and infinite value of each and every person that crosses my path.
Hate destroys ALL - me too.
So let all destroy hate - me too.
Love and kindness will bring us all together. I will be loving and kind to all.
Our main cause and mission in the beautiful life that we have, is only for one time in this world. We don't have any space for hatred, war mongering. With what is in our hearts is only to have and to live in Peace. All life is sacred no to Hate.
The hate must stop.
To stop any form of hate speech when I see it
I pledge to work towards creating communities of peace and justice.
Cape Town Interfaith Initiative is delighted to support this pledge. We pledge to do everything in our power to promote peace and understanding between people of diverse faiths and belief systems. We will live our truth, choosing always the path of love, compassion and respect.
I pledge to stop bullying in my school.
I pledge to support #NoPlace4hate.
Hate is Destructive ..... Be Creative!
I pledge to stand against hate in all its forms
I pledge to listen without judgment and respect others' perspectives even if they differ from my own.
We can only stop the hate by talking respectfully to one another and hearing one another's perspectives.
Individual choices are at the heart of change. I will stive to make the right choices in trying to build a more compassionate and caring society
DON'T SPEAK HATEFUL WORDS
"I will not stand idly by the blood of my neighbour" (Pirkei Avot)
I commit myself to JUSTICE for ALL with NO PLACE FOR HATE.
Not in our town, city or country - lets stop the hate together.
I pledge to love - not hate.
I support the No Place for Hate campaign.
I pledge to fight antisemitism everywhere but especially on social media platforms.
The Lord said,''say WE'', but I shook my head, hid my hands tight behind my back, and said, stubbornly,''I''
The Lord said , say ''WE'', but I looked upon them, grimy and all awry ,myself in all those twisted shapes? Ah no!
Distastefully I turned my head away, persisting''THEY''
The Lord said, ''say WE'', and I, at last, richer by a hoard of years and tears, looked in their eyes and found the heavy word, that bent my neck and bowed my head.
Like a shamed schoolboy,
I mumbled, ''WE'',Lord.

I pledge to see and respect the humanity in each and every one, and speak up when it is abused.
I pledge to stand up and speak out, wherever possible, against all hate and prejudice in my community and in South Africa.
I pledge to do everything I can to bring peace and harmony to my family, my community, my neighbourhood, my city, my province, my country and out there in the world.
I pledge to do whatever I can to bring people together and get rid of racism, hate and fear in this community and country.
