Dear Colleagues and Friends
It is a Mitzvah to erect a monument over the graves of our beloved departed ones.
This is traditionally done after the Shloshim or any time soon thereafter. We are presently not able to consecrate such a memorial due to COVID-19 regulations.
However, we ought to encourage our congregants to arrange with one of the local stone masons to erect such memorial and wait for the consecration once regulations permit.
The stone masons are all eager to assist immediately.
